Legal requests and Marco Civil
How we handle court orders, requests from authorities and content-removal requests under Brazilian law.
Marco Civil da Internet
InteSys follows Law 12,965/2014 (Marco Civil da Internet, Brazil's Internet Civil Framework) and the LGPD (Law 13,709/2018). Connection records, application access records and personal data are protected and disclosed to third parties only by court order (arts. 10 and 22).
Log retention
We keep the records the law requires for the legal periods: application access records for 6 months (art. 15) and, where applicable, connection records for 1 year (art. 13). Authorities may request longer retention as provided by law.
Content removal
Third-party content hosted by customers is removed upon a specific court order that clearly identifies the material (art. 19). Reports of breaches of our terms of use may also lead to suspension of the service, regardless of a court order.
Non-consensual intimate content
Private images, videos or material containing nudity or sexual acts published without consent are removed upon notice from the victim or their legal representative, without a court order (art. 21). Use the report form with the Illegal content category.
Copyright
Copyright complaints (Law 9,610/1998) must identify the work, the rights holder and the exact URL. We forward the notice to the responsible customer.
Requests from authorities
Police, prosecutors and courts should send official letters and court orders to [email protected], with the case or proceeding number, the resources involved (IP, domain, URL), the period with timezone and the requester's contact details.
Emergencies
Where there is a risk to anyone's life or safety, mark the request URGENT in the subject. Review follows the applicable law.
